Honda squad announces 2022 TCR South America plans

Crown Racing has announced plans to make the move into TCR South America for the 2022 season.

The Brazilian team will join the series running a pair of Honda Civic Type R cars, with drivers set to be revealed early in the New Year.

The move to TCR comes on the back of a successful spell racing in Brazilian Stock Cars.

“We are very pleased to join TCR South America from the next season,” team manager Cacá Bueno said. “Our team has built a strong reputation in Stock Car, winning back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016, and it will be very interesting to race in a new category.

“It’s a new door that opens and a new story to be written. During our maiden season we will make our best efforts and we will be looking for achieving the best possible results.”
