Triple Eight reveals fan focused Bathurst wildcard livery

Triple Eight has revealed the special livery that Craig Lowndes and Declan Fraser will run when they join forces in the Bathurst 1000 this weekend.

The pair will team up in a Supercheap Auto-backed Commodore as one of three wildcard entries in the race, with Lowndes making his 29th start in the race and Super2 front-runner Fraser making his debut.

The livery of the #888 entry features the faces of thousands of race fans who submitted their images via a competition, with a heartbeat running along the side to reflect the fans passion for the sport.

“I’m really excited to share our livery with everyone,” Lowndes said.

“It’s the biggest race of the year and to be able to share it with our fans and literally take them on the ride around The Mountain with Declan and I is something truly memorable.

“Both Declan and I are really excited to hit the track on Thursday. We’ve had three successful test days leading up into this week, and Declan has shown some great speed and composure throughout.

“We have every intention of being right in the mix and giving the fans something to cheer about.”
