Jack Le Brocq makes Erebus switch for 2024

Erebus Motorsport has moved quickly to replace the departing Will Brown after confirming the signing of Jack Le Brocq for the 2024 Supercars season.

Brown will depart ahead of the end of his contract to move to Triple Eight next year in place of Shane van Gisbergen, with Le Brocq switching across from Matt Stone Racing to full what is set to be one of the leading seats on the grid.

Le Brocq currently sits eighth in the points having scored a first win for MSR in Darwin earlier this season, but his current contract with the team comes to an end at the conclusion of the current season.

The 31-year-old will now rejoin the team that gave him his Supercars debut during the 2015 enduros and team up with current title contender Brodie Kostecki.

“I’d like to thank Matt Stone and the MSR team for their support and faith in me since we started our journey together,” Le Brocq said. “It was a tough decision for both parties, but the 2023 season will be my last at MSR.

“It’s been a big 18 months for the team, including MSR’s maiden Supercars win in Darwin. We’ve all grown a lot over that time, and I will forever be grateful to have played a part in it.

“Erebus is a team that has been instrumental in my career, and I am excited to re-join them next season.

“I look forward to contributing to Erebus’ ongoing success in 2024, though my immediate focus is on giving my all for the remainder of the 2023 season with my current team.”
