Familiar look for Triple Eight as new era begins

Triple Eight has revealed the Red Bull Ampol Racing livery that it will run in the 2024 Supercars season as the post-Shane van Gisbergen era begins.

Will Brown moves over from Erebus Motorsport to partner Broc Feeney in the revised line-up for 2024, with the Chevrolet Camaros that the pair will race being revealed in a special launch event at Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport attended by thousands of fans.

The reveal of the livery for the new season came after the team confirmed how it would line up in the enduro races, with Brown being joined by Scott Pye in the #87 entry and team principal Jamie Whincup teaming up with Feeney.

“What an amazing event – Toowoomba has really turned it on for us today!” Whincup said.

“It was unreal to shut down Wellcamp Airport for a family fun day of race cars and planes in front of literally thousands of people, a very proud moment for us.

“This season launch is the biggest we’ve ever seen from a Supercars team and I’m so proud of the guys and girls at Triple Eight, alongside our longstanding co-naming rights partners Red Bull and Ampol for the tireless effort they have put in to making this event a great success for the local community.

“Our ‘Livery Landing’ kicks off an exciting season with what I believe is the most exciting young driver line-up the series has seen in Broc and Will, and I can’t wait to get to The Mountain for round one.”
