Leonel Pernia heads Honda YPF Racing 1-2-3 in Misiones qualifying

Leonel Pernia claimed pole position for the TCR South America round at Misiones in Argentina, heading a strong Honda YPF Racing 1-2-3.

Pernia beat team-mates Nelson Piquet Jr and Tiago Pernia by 0.175 and 0.279 seconds respectively, making it an all-Honda top three.

Pedro Cardoso was fastest of the non-Honda drivers in fourth place for PMO Racing, four tenths from pole behind the wheel of his Peugeot 308TCR.

Fabian Yannantuoni put his Lynk & Co 03 TCR in fifth place on the grid, 0.555 seconds from pole while Rahpael Reis made it four different manufacturers in the top six with his W2 Pro GP-prepared Cupra.

Juan Angel Rosso (Lynk & Co) and Luis Ramirez (Peugeot) rounded off the top eight, 0.752 and 0.805 seconds from pole respectively.

The first race of the weekend starts at 09:00 local time/14:00 CEST.
