Mikel Azcona heads final practice at Inje Speedium

BRC Hyundai driver Mikel Azcona topped the final free practice session of the FIA TCR World Tour round at Inje Speedium in South Korea, the home race weekend of Hyundai.

The Spaniard was 0.128 seconds quicker than local hero Junesung Park, who topped the first practice session.

Yann Ehrlacher was fastest of the Geely Cyan Racing drivers in third, 0.186 seconds from the top time, with team-mate Thed Björk right behind in fourth.

Aurélien Comte was the leading Cupra driver in fifth place, trailing Azcona by seven tenths of a second, while former champion Norbert Michelisz was sixth fastest, nine tenths from team-mate Azcona.

Swedish Cupra driver Viktor Andersson claimed seventh ahead of points leader Santiago Urrutia who was forced out of the first practice session due to an engine change which most likely will mean a grid penalty for the Uruguayan driver.

Lo Sze Ho (Hyundai) and Jean-Karl Vernay (Cupra) rounded off the top ten.

Next up is qualifying, starting at 10:10 local time/03:10 CEST.
