Matt Neal to race in the Mugello 12 Hours

Three-time British Touring Car champion and World Touring Car Championship commentator Matt Neal will make a rare foray into endurance racing alongside his BTCC commitments this year, driving for KPM Racing, under the Milltek Sport banner in the Mugello 12 Hours event on March 13th-14th, reports Dailysportscar.com

The 12 Hours of Italy is the second of the six non-championship events organised by Creventic, following on from the 24 Hours of Dubai which took place last month, which was contested by a number of current and ex-BTCC stars such as Jonathan Adam, Tom Onslow-Cole, Dan Welch, Ollie Jackson and Paul O’Neill.

Neal will race the team’s Volkswagen Golf diesel in the 12 hour race, marking his first endurance outing since the 2008 Bathurst 1000, then driving for Paul Morris Motorsport.
