Michel Nykjaer and Andrea Belicchi to Target Competition

Target Competition has signed drivers Michel Nykjaer and Andrea Belicchi for the inaugural 2015 TCR International Series.

The duo joins already confirmed driver Stefano Comini to drive the three SEAT Leóns of the team, completing their line-up for the 2015 season.

Nykjaer is a former double Danish Touring Car Champion and finished third in the 2013 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, driving a Chevrolet Cruze. His most recent drive was in 2013 for Nika Racing in the FIA World Touring Car Championship where he scored three victories and was involved in the championship fight before ending the season prematurely due to budget issues.

Belicchi has previously driven single seaters, one-make championships and GT cars, claiming the 1998 Renault Spider Eurocup title and the 2002 Formula 3 Russia title. Last season saw the Italian racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship, finishing second overall in the Private Team Drivers Trophy.
