Prince Racing to run Honda Civics in TCR Asia Series

Prince Racing has been confirmed to run the pair of JAS Motorsport prepared Honda Civics in the maiden TCR Asia Series season.

“With our close working relationship with JAS, the success they’re having in the International Series, and our desire to be a part of this great new program that sees us racing alongside F1 in Singapore and on the streets of Macau, we just had to be a part of it,” said Kenneth Lau, driver and team co-owner.

Lau will drive one of the Civics alongside team mate Michael Choi at Prince Racing, a team previously running JAS Motorsport-prepared Honda Accords of S2000 specification in Asia, as well as single seaters and GT cars.

”It’s also the start of an exciting new chapter in Asian motorsport, something which also appealed to Michael and I. We’re really looking forward to it,” said Lau.

The cars are currently being shipped to Singapore where they will take part in a promotion event ahead of the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix, before being transported to Sepang for a shakedown ahead of the maiden TCR Asia Series round on September 4-6th.
