Bathurst 1000 qualifying reschedule confirmed after Chaz Mostert crash

Qualifying for the 2015 Bathurst 1000 has been rescheduled to Saturday following the major crash of Chaz Mostert that saw all remaining track activities today cancelled.

Mostert lost control of his Ford Falcon on the first lap of qualifying that saw him being airlifted to hospital and five track marshals injured, as reported earlier.

Qualifying has been shortened from 40 minutes to 30 minutes and will start at 12:30 local time tomorrow. The Top Ten Shootout remains unchanged in the schedule, starting at 17:10.

Practice 6 has been shortened to 40 minutes and will start at 10:20.
