Dan Wells joins Campos Racing for TCR Macau finale

Hong Kong-based Brit Dan Wells will pair up with Josh Files at Campos Racing for the Guia Race of Macau, creating an all-British line-up behind the wheels of the team’s Opel Astra OPCs. Wells replaces Igor Skuz, who was originally on the entry list for the team.

Single-seater expert Wells is the current Asia Formula Renault champion, winning ten consecutive races on his way to the title, and finished on the podium in the 60th Macau Grand Prix’s Formula Masters invitational race two years ago.

Wells’ team-mate this weekend at the Guia circuit is front-wheel drive expert Josh Files, the 2013 Renault Clio Cup UK and Eurocup champion.

Wells’ addition to the grid means there are four British drivers taking part in the Special Administrative Region of China, with 2012 WTCC champion Rob Huff driving a WestCoast Racing Honda Civic TCR, and 2011 BTCC independents’ champion and 2013 WTCC independents’ champion James Nash driving a Proteam/FRD Ford Focus ST.
