Livery unveiled for Nissan Motorsport driver Simona de Silvestro

Nissan Motorsport has unveiled the livery for Simona de Silvestro’s Nissan Altima who will do her first full Supercars season in 2017, having previously only driven in the endurance races .

“The car looks fantastic. Red goes faster, right?” said de Silvestro. “It’s great to show off the Altima I will be racing this year, as well as announcing that Harvey Norman will be supporting me. Harvey Norman was with me at the last two Bathurst 1000’s, so it’s great to have them onboard again.”

The 28-year-old is going to drive the #78 Nissan Altima alongside team-mates Todd Kelly, Rick Kelly and Michael Caruso.

De Silvestro took part in last year’s endurance races and comes from a background of single seaters, having secured podium finishes in IndyCar and testing for Formula 1 team Sauber.
