Stockton withdraws from Rockingham

Chris Stockton has been withdrawn from the British Touring Car Championship race at Rockingham. The reason for the withdrawal is technical problems that occurred during the qualifying session.
“It’s really disappointing. After Brands Hatch where the two cars only did three racing laps between them, to now have this problem is not good at all,” team boss Bert Taylor told autosport.com.

“The strange thing is that we never had this problem in testing either.”

The throttle body broke which in its turn damaged parts of the engine. The team tried to repair the parts over night but failed.
