Paul O’Neill returns at Thruxton

Paul O’Neill is going to return to the British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton. At first he was planned to drive the premiere, but it was moved to this weekend instead.
“I’m really excited about the weekend ahead. It’s a good opportunity for me to get back on track and I think we have a real chance to bring home some good results,” said O’Neill.

O’Neill is going to drive a Tech-Speed Motorsport prepared Honda Integra and is aiming to get in to top ten.

“I think it is a realistic aim to get both cars into the top ten and with the reverse grid in race three, anything could happen,” said O’Neill.

O’Neill teams up with Martyn Bell who managed to take two top ten finishes in the BTCC premiere at Brands Hatch. O’Neill thinks the car suits Thruxton even better.

“The car is really good and Thruxton is a circuit where I have gone well in the past, so I have to aim high,” said O’Neill.
