AmD Milltek Racing delighted with best weekend

The AmD Milltek Racing team left Brands Hatch with their best ever result with 12th in the third race for new signing Tom Onslow-Cole.

Team Principal Shaun Hollamby told TouringCarTimes he was delighted with the results of the day, with Onslow-Cole fighting hard throughout race three to keep his position from the Team Eurotech Vauxhall of Jeff Smith and Nick Foster’s WSR BMW 320si.

The team are investigating the reason as to why their car is suffering with straightline speed, with the Golf proving to be the slowest NGTC-powered car in a S2000 chassis this weekend, and over 5mph slower than the Special Tuning Racing SEAT of Tom Boardman which is fitted with the same engine, and hopes to resolve this before Donington Park in two weeks time.
