Tony Gilham might be out due to sponsor issues

Tony Gilham might be out for the rest of the British Touring Car Championship season after just one race due a main sponsor pulling out.
“We need something to happen before Donington so we can even be there. We’ve had lots of good feedback from last weekend, I’ve been speaking to 100 companies a day, but it doesn’t mean anything until the money’s in the bank,” said Gilham to Kent News.

Gilham, who makes his BTCC debut this year, managed to finish in the top ten of all three races of the season premiere at Brands Hatch, driving a NGTC powered Vauxhall Vectra.

“We want to carry on trying to prove ourselves because we showed at Brands we can be quick,” said Gilham.

The next BTCC race takes place at Donington Park next weekend and it remains to be seen if Gilham is going to be on the grid by then.
