Matt Neal flown to hospital after race one

Honda Racing Team’s Matt Neal has been flown to hospital for checks on an existing rib injury after the first race at Brands Hatch.

Neal was eliminated from the race in the first corner melee after contact with Rob Austin Racing’s Hunter Abbott.

The former triple BTCC champion has been nursing two broken ribs, following an accident in a kart race last week.
