Top Run may have to sit out Race 2 in Thailand

Alain Menu stopped with two laps to go in the first race at Buriram, Thailand. The team told him to stop on track as they smelled a gearbox problem, following a puff of smoke coming out of the Subaru WRX STi.

With the car still not back in the garage, Top Run are not sure what the problem is and if it can be fixed in time to get the Swiss out on track for Race 2.

The team are worried more track time could be lost, and are disappointed as the car was quite competitive during the race.
