Roberto Colciago dominates Vallelunga qualifying

Roberto Colciago took both pole positions for AGS in his Honda Civic at Vallelunga, the fifth event of TCR Italy. The Italian will start ahead of BRC Racing’s Alberto Viberti’s SEAT and Italian tv star Jimmy Ghione in both races. The results mark the Honda driver’s fifth and sixth pole position of the year.

Viberti was actually the only driver close to the pole sitter’s pace, as Ghione was about three seconds slower in both sessions. Daniele Cappellari will start from fourth, behind the BRC Racing duo, in both races.

Guest driver Giovanni Mancini will start from fifth in the first race, while Mariano Costamagna will line up in the same spot for the second race.

Andrea Bacci will be sixth on the grid for both races, the former Superstars Series driver making his debut at the wheel of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio built in-house by his team and hosted in the new TCT class.

Alberto Bassi took both pole positions in the TCS class.

The races will start at 10.45 and 17.25 local time respectively.
