100th Audi RS 3 LMS presented in Spain

The 100th Audi RS 3 LMS produced by Audi Sport Customer Racing has been presented in Barcelona, Spain. The car is produced in Martorell, Spain, just like its sister cars the SEAT León TCR and Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.

Audi Sport Customer Racing only made the car available for orders last year, delivering 90 cars by the beginning of this season. “In just its debut season, we have already delivered 90 examples of our race car to customers around the world and have received preorders up to the 100th model,” said the German. “We’re proud that our entry model for touring car racing has gone down so well and that it is already such an important pillar of our model range. My thanks go to our colleagues in Spain for the excellent work in building our race car.”

Reinke had said last year in an interview with TouringCarTimes he was “overwhelmed” with the interest received by the RS 3 LMS, saying they were expecting to produce 60 cars by the beginning of the racing season this year. Those expectations were massively exceeded, as 90 were delivered and another ten were produced since
