Vukovic reveal technical details of the new Mégane TCR

Vukovic Motorsport has revealed further technical information behind the new-for-2018 TCR-specification Renault Mégane, the latest TCR car announced last month by the Swiss team.

The reigning and outgoing DTC Series-winning team are developing the new car with authorisation from Renault Sport for sale next year to customers, with confirmation today that Liechestein-based Lehmann Motorentechnik will be developing the car’s 1.8-litre , 350bhp engine.

Bosch will develop the car’s electronics suite, including the engine management system, power box, wiring loom and dashboard.

French firm 3MO will provide the car’s gearbox, a departure from what’s become the TCR standard, with the Honda Civic, Audi RS 3 LMS, SEAT León and Volkswagen Golf all using a Sadev sytsem.

OZ Wheels and KW Suspension are the chosen wheel and shock absorber suppliers.
