Brisky Racing completes shakedown of first TCR UK car
Brisky Racing has completed the initial shakedown of the first car it will use in the 2018 TCR UK series.
The team was one of the first to go public with plans to compete in the all new series when it launches next season, with a multi-car entry planned featuring at least three cars.
Having elected to run the VW Golf for its first season of TCR competition, the team took delivery of the first car last week before heading to Silverstone today [Monday] for the initial shakedown test.

Brisky chief Richard Wheeler shared driving duties with BTCC racer Jake Hill – who is one of a number of drivers to have competed with Brisky backing – during the day, with the team now focused on the start of a full pre-season testing programme.
No drivers have yet been confirmed by the team for the 2018 season.
“The run at Silverstone was just for us to complete the shakedown of the car,” Wheeler told TouringCarTimes. “The Golf drives really well and we are absolutely over the moon with it. I did half the running and then Jake did half, and he was able to put some fast laps in.
“Now the car is run in and ready to go, we are looking forward to getting some proper testing under our belt as we are very serious about our entry into TCR UK for 2018.”
