Senna Proctor demoted to back of race two grid

Senna Proctor will start the second BTCC race of the weekend at Donington Park from the back of the grid after being handed his third strike of the season.

The Power Maxed Racing driver had been given two penalties during the season opener at Brands Hatch to leave him facing a grid demotion if found guilty of any other indiscretions.

Having made contact with Colin Turkington’s BMW mid-way through the opening race, Proctor has now been given his third strike of the year to trigger a penalty that drops him to the rear of the grid.

Should Proctor receive another strike before 8 April 2019, he will now face a one race ban under revised regulations in place in the series.
