Dan Cammish hit with penalty, Team Dynamics lodge appeal

Dan Cammish looks set to lose his first win in the BTCC having been hit with a time penalty following the opening race at Brands Hatch.

The Jack Sears Trophy winner had crossed the line first ahead of team-mate Matt Neal to give Team Dynamics a 1-2 finish, but was under investigation for a possible infringement at the start.

Cammish has now been handed a 30 second penalty for a false start that would see him drop down outside the top 20 in the results.

Team Dynamics is currently appealing against the decision before an official result can be issued.
