Mike Halder joins KCMG for TCR Europe finale

The KCMG team has revealed that it will expand to three cars for the final rounds of the TCR Europe season in Barcelona next weekend.

TCR Germany front-runner Mike Halder will make his debut in the series at the wheel of a third Honda Civic Type R TCR alongside team regulars Josh Files and Attila Tassi to aid the Hell Energy-backed squad as it seeks to secure the teams’ championship.

Halder has spent this season racing a Civic for Honda Team ADAC Sachsen and secured three pole positions and three wins en-route to fourth in the German standings.

“I’m very excited to be making my TCR Europe debut this weekend,” he said. “I have two targets; to support Attila and Josh in helping the team win the Championship, and to perform strongly and show people what I can do.

“I’ve had many pole positions and wins in TCR Germany this year and it will be interesting to see how I can fit in with a new team at a new circuit. I think it’s going to be an amazing weekend for the fans and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
