Enrico Bettera returns with Pit Lane Competizioni in title hunt

Pit Lane Competizioni has confirmed that Enrico Bettera will continue driving for them in the 2019 TCR Italy series and the team has set its sights high.

The Italian will again be behind the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS, the same car that he finished fourth overall in 2018, claiming one victory at Imola.

“It is an announcement that we are happy to make well in time for the season start,” said Roberto Remelli, team manager of Pit Lane Competizioni.

“His win at Imola was our highlight of last year and we want to do even better this year as he has everything it takes to fight for the title.”

The team is going to field further cars for the 2019 TCR Italy series season and will reveal the identity of Bettera’s team-mates “in the coming weeks”.
