Team Clairet Sport adds third Peugeot

Team Clairet Sport has announced that it will add a third Peugeot 308TCR to its programme in the 2019 TCR Europe Series.

The team had already announced that it would run cars for Teddy and Jimmy Clairet and has now confirmed a third car to be shared between Gilles Colombani and Stéphane Ventaja.

Colombani, an amateur driver from the island of Corsica, made his racing debut last year in the French Peugeot 308 Racing Cup, and will return to this series this season to fight for the Gentleman Trophy.

Alongside that, he will take in the TCR Europe events at the Hungaroring and in Barcelona, with a possibility of also racing in Oschersleben.

Ventaja, who won the Gentleman Trophy in the French 308 Racing Cup, secured one TCR Europe outing as part of his prize and will add in two additional outings – with his races confirmed as those at Hockenheim, Spa and the Red Bull Ring.
