Stian Paulsen joins the grid for Hockenheim

Stian Paulsen will make a belated start to the 2019 TCR Europe Touring Car Series this weekend, when the Norwegian joins the field for Round 2 at the Hockenheimring.

Paulsen was forced to miss the season opener due to budget reasons, but the 31-year-old will be racing again in his re-liveried Cupra TCR for the remaining rounds of the season.

“I cant wait to be back in the car after some very hard weeks with work,” said Paulsen.

“I don’t have any expectations for the weekend, this will be my first time driving this year, but its the second race for the other guys. Main focus will be to learn as much as possible.

“A lot of stuff is new in my team this year, and we have a lot to work with and learn compare to the last years. Without saying any more about this, it will be difficult now in the begging, but it will be super-great in the future.”
