Hyundais on full compensation weight for Hockenheim weekend

The ten Hyundai i30 N TCRs will run at the maximum compensation weight for the second round of the 2019 TCR Europe Touring Car Series this weekend, while all their rivals will be on 30kg of weight at Hockenheim.

The Hyundais were assessed to have been the fastest cars during the opening round of the season earlier this month at the Hungaroring, while all the remaining runners will be able to run at reduced ballast this weekend, after all cars carried the maximum weight in Hungary.

Mat’o Homola had secured pole position for the opening race in Hungary driving for Target Competition.

Target Competition run five cars in the TCR Europe series, M Racing run two, M1RA two while the BRC Racing Team run a single car for Luca Filippi.

The first track activity takes place today, with Free Practice 1 at 11:10 CEST and FP2 at 16:40, with qualifying tomorrow morning at 10:05.
