Audi the big winner in latest Balance of Performance changes
The latest round of Balance of Performance changes announced by the TCR technical department will see all three of the cars from the Volkswagen Group given a weight break.
The Audi RS 3 LMS will lose an additional 20kg of BoP weight and will now run at -30kg, with the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR and the Cupra TCR both losing 10kg to run at -40kg.
It means the minimum racing weight for the Audi, before any compensation weight is applied, will now be 1,235kg, with the Volkswagen and Cupra at 1,225kg.
The changes come into play from this weekend, when the TCR Europe series heads to the Red Bull Ring for the latest round of the season.
