Two Hyundais entered for inaugural TCR New Zealand season

Racer Products has entered two Hyundai i30 N TCRs for the inaugural TCR New Zealand championship season.

The team is headed by Mark Petch and lead driver Gene Rollinson. The cars were bought from Target Competition, with the first one arrived earlier this year and will be used in endurance races.

“I am thrilled to be able to get so much more seat time in the run up to the TCR New Zealand championship as I am going to have to be right on top of my game against the top Aussies that are slated to be coming over for our inaugural championship,” said Rollinson.

“Five race weekends back-to-back is going to be a tough ask for anybody, so I need as much seat time as possible leading up to the first race at Highlands in January.”

The second car will be delivered in October for a yet to be confirmed driver, with the team stating they are in search of a young driver.
