PICS: Teams continue pre-season programmes

Teams are continuing to plan for the new British Touring Car Championship season, with a number of teams taking to the track at Brands Hatch for the latest unofficial group test.

West Surrey Racing, Team Dynamics, MB Motorsport, Motorbase, BTC Racing, Trade Price Cars Racing and Speedworks were all present at the Kent circuit along with Carl Boardley’s BMW; which hasn’t travelled to Spain with the other three cars being run this season by Team HARD.

The test saw Matt Neal return to action for the first time since his cycling accident, whilst Motorbase gave a debut to the second of its new Ford Focus STs – with Rory Butcher able to turn laps in his own car having shared Ollie Jackson’s car at the circuit last week.

Full liveries for the 2020 field are set to be unveiled by next Tuesday, when the field will head for Silverstone and the official series launch – which will play host to the only officially timed test of the off-season.

A number of teams, including Dynamics, WSR and Motorbase, have remained at Brands Hatch today.
