Team Clairet Sport announce four car programme

Team Clairet Sport has announced that it will field a four car entry into TCR Europe for the 2020 season.

The French squad will stick with the Peugeot 308 TCR for the new season and will once again be led by siblings Jimmy and Teddy Clairet.

Gentlemen drivers Gilles Colombani and Stéphane Ventaja, both of whom ran selected events with the team last year, will now compete for a full season.

“We are delighted to confirm our 2020 programme and a further step-up in our efforts, despite the unforeseen situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic,” team principal Jean-Marie Clairet said.

“It is going to be a very busy few months for us, given also our presence in the French championship, but we can rely on the customer support put in place by Peugeot Sport, who will have an engineer and a spare parts truck at every round.

“There are small evolutions in the Peugeot 308 and we will be soon on track for some test days. After a very promising maiden season in TCR Europe last year, in which we have learnt a lot, we feel more prepared to face the series’ fierce competition. The goal is to make all our drivers progress and aim at some good results.”
