Mehdi Bennani secures Comtoyou Racing seat

Mehdi Bennani will move into TCR Europe for the 2020 season after agreeing a deal to join Comtoyou Racing.

The Moroccan driver has spent the past two seasons racing in the World Touring Car Cup with Sébastien Loeb Racing, having previously raced with the French squad in the WTCC.

Having previously raced a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR, Bennani will switch to an Audi RS 3 LMS alongside Sami Taoufik and the previously announced Nicolas Baert.

Taoufik joins the team for a full season having previously competed in Comtoyou colours for the TCR Germany round at Sachsenring and the TCR Europe event at Monza last year.
