Jimmy Clairet stripped of third after Jarama qualifying

Jimmy Clairet has been stripped of his third place finish in the TCR Europe series qualifying at Jarama following the post session technical inspections.

The stewards found his Peugeot 308TCR to be underweight, weighing in at 1175,5kg, two kilos below the minimum weight.

Clairet will thus start from the back of the grid in both races tomorrow, promoting Mat’o Homola and Mehdi Bennani to positions three and four on the grid for the first race.

The result also means that John Filippi has inherited the Race 2 reversed grid pole position with Dániel Nagy in second.
