Triple Eight unveil 2021 colours

Triple Eight has revealed the livery that it will carry on its two Holden Commodores for the 2021 Supercars Championship season.

Now running under the Red Bull Ampol Racing name, the #88 of Jamie Whincup and Shane van Gisbergen’s #97 entry will feature the famous Red Bull colours alongside the logos of both Ampol and Amplify Premium Fuel.

Whincup was joined by endurance co-driver Craig Lowndes – who also serves as an Ampol ambassador – for the reveal.

“It’s great to have Ampol deepen their commitment to the team to become co-naming rights partner for season 2021 and beyond,” Whincup said. “They’re an iconic Australian fuel and convenience company that are driven by high-performance, which aligns to our team values. We’re proud to partner with them as they revitalise the Ampol brand.

“I think the car looks fantastic too. It’s pretty out there and there’s quite a bit going on, but we’re not trying to be the quiet achievers and I think the car suits our style.”

Ampol is the oldest partner of Triple Eight Race Engineering, having first joined the team in 2005.
