Augusto Farfus penalised for Luca Filippi incident

Hyundai N Motorsport’s Augusto Farfus was penalised by the stewards after contact with M1RA Romeo Ferrari’s Luca Filippi in the PURE ETCR Pool A Round 1 Battle 2.

The Brazilian tagged the Italian, who was leading, on the inside, forcing the Alfa Romeo Giulia off the track. Farfus would then go onto winning the battle at the wheel of his Veloster N ETCR, scoring 15 points.

The stewards have now found Farfus responsible of causing the collision, deducting eight points from his count as the penalty.
