TCR Italy champion Antti Buri left without a drive for 2022

Reigning champion Antti Buri will not be back for the 2022 TCR Italy season which starts this weekend.

“Unfortunately I’m out of seat this season,” said Buri to TouringCarTimes.

“After winning two national championships the past two seasons it would have been great to continue the momentum.”

The Finn, who drove for Target Competition in TCR Italy last year and secured the TCR Germany the year before for Team Engstler, looks set for occasional endurance races this year.

“At the moment I will be doing some endurance events, like the Spa 12h in a Porsche this weekend,” said Buri.
