Patrick Sing to race in German events

TCR Germany racer Patrick Sing has announced that he will compete in the TCR Europe races at both the Norisring this weekend, and at the Nürburgring later in the season.

Sing will be at the wheel of the same RaceSing team Hyundai i30 N that he is using in his regular campaign, where his has scored a best finish of fourth so far this season.

“The Norisring is our home race, only one hour away by car, and is the highlight of the season,” he said. “Everybody is really looking forward to it and everyone is excited; it’s the Monaco Grand Prix of Germany in the middle of the city of Nuremberg. Last year I was there as a spectator at the DTM finale in the stands and now with TCR Europe I’m right in the middle instead of just being there. It’s unbelievable – a dream come true!

“We are now curious how we can do in the very strong field with more than 20 cars in TCR Europe, plus how we will cope with the 20kg of additional weight and a new tyre brand in Kumho.”
