Attila Bucsi joins final TCR Eastern Europe race of 2023

Attila Bucsi is going to join the final TCR Eastern Europe race of 2023 this weekend at Brno with M1RA Motorsport.

The 16-year-old is going to drive a Hyundai i30 N TCR, having previously raced in the Suzuki Swift Cup Europe – dominating the 2022 season by winning all races.

“I am proud to say that this weekend brings the opportunity I have been waiting for since my collaboration with M1RA,” says Bucsi, who is mentored by TCR World Tour driver Norbert Michelisz.

“I am very excited. I have been preparing for this for over three years, and I will strive to perform to the best of my abilities.”

The youngster is going to be joined by another new 2023 entry, as last year’s champion Bartosz Groszek is going to drive an Audi RS 3 LMS for Aditis Racing.

“Originally, the plan was to participate in another endurance race, but due to the low number of cars on the grid, we decided to let it go,” said Groszek.

“Then I received an offer from (team owner) Radim that I couldn’t refuse, and I decided to return to TCR Eastern Europe. I want to thank him for that.”
