Giacomo Ghermandi joins Marco Butti at MM Motorsport

Giacomo Ghermandi is going to join Marco Butti at MM Motorsport in this year’s TCR Europe season, with the team fielding a pair of latest generation Honda Civics.

Ghermandi last raced a full season of TCR Europe in 2022, finishing 32nd overall, and has taken part in selected races since then.

Last weekend saw him claiming his maiden TCR Eastern Europe victory in the season opener at Red Bull Ring.

“The success achieved at the Red Bull Ring in TCR Eastern Europe has given us a great boost of enthusiasm and confidence,” said Ghermandi.

“We are very excited at the idea of returning to compete in the top category at European level, even though we are aware that a very demanding challenge awaits us. The level of the opponents will be very high as usual, but at the same time we want to measure ourselves and to understand on a personal level where I am on my growth path.”

Ghermandi is the 19th so far confirmed entry for the 2025 TCR Europe season.
