Brad Jones Racing announces Toyota switch for 2026 Supercars
Brad Jones Racing has confirmed that it will switch to Toyota for the 2026 Supercars Championship, fielding four Supras.
“We can put the final piece of the puzzle together,” said Toyota Australia marketing chief Sean Hanley.
“I’m pleased to welcome BJR as our team to join WAU. it’s such an exciting time, this gives us great coverage on the grid. It gives us six cars on the grid.”
The announcement means that there will be a total of six Toyotas on the grid next season, with Toyota homologation team Walkinshaw Andretti United fielding two Supras.
Brad Jones Racing has already begun work on its first Toyota Supra while some of the four cars will be converted Chevrolet Camaros of the team’s existing cars.
“I think for us to build four new cars is too much,” said team owner Brad Jones.
“Every year we build one new car and we’ve already started that process. So we’ll build one or two, and then we’ll reskin a couple of cars – we’ll probably reskin three cars, maybe.”
The team is yet to confirm its 2026 drivers, with its current line-up consisting of Andre Heimgartner, Bryce Fullwood, Macauley Jones and Jaxon Evans.
