Ollie Jackson given reprimand and penalty points

Speedworks Motorsport’s Ollie Jackson has been given an official reprimand and two points on his racing licence for a incident with West Surrey Racing’s Nick Foster at Thruxton.

There was contact between the pair on lap two of race one, which caused Foster to spin and stall his BMW 125i, dropping him to the rear of the field.

The stewards ruled Jackson was “driving in a manner incompatible with general safety, or departing from the standard of a reasonably competent driver”.

Gordon Shedden filed a complaint against Jason Plato following the incident between the pair in the first race, but the stewards decided not to take any action.
