With the BTCC season start closing rivals Jason Plato and Yvan Müller already have started a fight. With Müller´s threat to quit if the driving standards doesen´t improve Jason Plato was quick to respond. “If you look at the stats and videos I think there is one common denominator in (the bad driving) and that would be Yvan,” Plato said to The Daily Express.

“I hope he said that with tongue in cheek because if he didn´t he is an idiot. He is very good at scoring own-goals with stupid comments and people in glass houses shouldn´t throw stones. The championship need to be tough. Sure we have to get rid of the desperate late lunge but there were not that many people doing that last year and the rest is all part of the fun. I am going to get stuck in – and everyone loves to stick it up the frogs.” Follow the BTCC action during this weekend as it starts off at Donington.
