Neal wins 2nd race at Oulton
Honda’s Matt Neal took victory in the second race of the day at Oulton Park. Neal started fourth on the grid, but at the start he speared of to take the lead and drive home for the win. Only Italian Fabrizio Giovanardi was able to follow the pace of the leader. He finished in second.
Third on the podium was Gordon Sheddon, winner of race one. He proved he can drive a car with much ballast as well. He was well ahead of fourth placed James Thompson.
Thompson had a hard fight with Robert Collard over fourth place. He managed to overtake Collard after giving him a small nudge at the hairpin. Collard was also involved in an incident at the start of the race, where he made contact with teammate Colin Turkington and Vauxhalls Gavin Smith. Plato finished right behind Collard in sixth.
