Marsh withdraws

Richard Marsh has withdrawn from Snetterton’s three Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship rounds after his Peugeot 307 hit terminal engine problems.

Marsh’s Team Farecla squad was unable to repair the damaged motor overnight, meaning the Derbyshire man is unable to race. However, Marsh will stay on for the Pit Lane Walkabout.

Team principal Julian Griffin told BTCC.net: “It’s a shame because we’d found a good set-up on the car and before the engine went Richard was getting closer to the group of cars he’s targeting.

“We need to look forward to Knockhill now and hope to test a new engine in the next two weeks at Donington.”
