Two privateers SEATs next year

The team Motorbase Performance will run a pair of SEAT Toledo Cupra in the BTCC next year. This will be the first ever privately run SEAT’s in the BTCC. The cars are in S2000 specification and will be eligible for the championship next year when only S2000 cars are allowed.

“I’m really looking forward to another season in the BTCC next year. I think we’ve put together a strong package, which combined with the experience we’ve gained in our first year, should make for a good season,” Motorbase Performance boss Bartum said to Btccpages.

Motorbase Performance ran a Honda Integra this year for Dave Pinkney. Drivers for the two SEAT’s are not yet announced but a decision is expected during the coming months.
