SEAT reveals 2007 Leon

SEAT Sport UK has revealed images of the Spanish manufacturer’s 2007-spec Leon that will contest this year’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

Drivers Jason Plato and Darren Turner posed with the car during a recent photoshoot (above). Fans can view more images in the BTCC.net website’s Image gallery.

SEAT is this year attempting to win a second straight Manufacturers’ title and SEAT Sport UK the Teams’ crown as well, having come close in 2006. Meanwhile, Plato will be looking to add to a second Drivers’ crown to that which he won in 2001.

Turner’s full-time position in the squad comes after he impressed in five outings in 2006. In addition to his BTCC aspirations, Turner will continue his sports car career with Aston Martin, contesting American Le Mans Series races plus the classic Le Mans 24 Hours endurance event.
