Champions absent from testing

While Vauxhall’s Fabrizio Giovanardi topped the timesheets at the first official test session of 2007 at Rockingham there was one notable absentee out on the track, Champion Matt Neal.

Although Team Dynamics were present at the media day and test session problems prevented them from getting out on track. At one point it looked like they may have sorted the problems out on the new Civic but the car failed to make it out of the garage except for when it was pushed out for press shots.

After working on the car for a few hours the team gave up and decided to pack up early and get home to sort out the problems.

Many fans are wondering if Team Dynamics will be able to get the car up to speed for the start of the season in a few weeks time, and some are writing off Matt Neal’s chances of defending the title before the season even gets started.
