Arena Motorsport to build Ford for 2008?

Rumor around the paddock during the Thruxton finale is that Arena Motorsport are currently building two Ford S2000 spec’ cars for the British Touring Car Championship 2008. The project is belived to have approval from Ford. The exact identity of the car being build is not sure, but is belived to be the Focus as opposed to the much larger Mondeo.

As for possible drivers, Tom Chilton is on the list. He recently dropped from the Vauxhall squad and has driven for Arena Motorsport in the BTCC previously. Tom and his brother Max have recently teamed up for Arena MOtorsport in their ALMS Zytec Z07S. Could we be seeing the first team of brothers to enter the BTCC?
